Celebration of Krushi Din 2026

CSMSS College of Agriculture, Kanchanwadi celebrated Krushi Din on 1 July 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the architect of the Green Revolution in Maharashtra, Late Vasantrao Naik. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Anil Tayde, Human Resource Development Officer, CSMS Sansthas, and Dr. Mohan Patil, Principal, CSMSS College of Agriculture. Dr. Pravin Bainade and Prof. Atul Bhondve, Vice-Principal, inaugurated the programme by paying floral tributes to the portrait of Late Vasantrao Naik and participating in a tree plantation drive on the college campus. Students Mr. Omkar Jambhale and Mr. Kunal Mhaske expressed their views on the significance of Krushi Din, while Mr. Shivam Jagtap recited the poem "Gavakad Chala Majhya Dosta" by Dr. Indrajit Bhalerao. Prof. Atul Bhondve highlighted the remarkable contributions of Late Vasantrao Naik towards agricultural development and various farmer welfare initiatives in Maharashtra. To mark the occasion, the college also organized various student competitions. The programme was compered by Ms. Samruddhi Surase and the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Nagaraj Malge. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Yogesh Waghmode (NSS Programme Officer), Dr. Tanaji Dabhade, Prof. Sarika Puri, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff and students of the college.
